My name is Ashleigh Eileen Liang Foster. I’m a senior majoring in history at the University of Mary Washington. I am also a student of the College of Education in the secondary education program. I was excited to enroll for HIST 427: History of the Information Age because Dr. McClurken was teaching it! Although I had not previously had Dr. McClurken as a professor, I had some communication with him for research in another course and he offered me very helpful advising. I know I could definitely improve on my technological literacy and skills as a historian, so this course will offer me the opportunity to do so with both!
